The devices – called flight recorders – were designed to withstand crash impacts and intense fire from fires, and they appeared to be intact when located within the crash debris. Officials will analyzing information from the recorders.
The plane’s last recorded information indicated an height of 475 ft and a velocity of 210 mph ahead of the impact.
